Megaennui

I don't know what it is, but I'm just too meh for belief.

Meh.

I can't even muster the energy to put up a good LJ post about it. Everything's just all blah and pthhththpptt and nghghgggnnngg.

Tonight I think I need to devote some serious time and energy to cleaning the house. And grocery shopping.

Finally, you'd think Yale University could figure their own fucking GPA averages on their transcripts.

I'm feeling the same way.

had fibro pains for 2 weeks, blah
mystery gallbladder pain reappearing last week, blah
associated gut problems because of mystery gallbladder, blah
getting on the scale and seeing 13 extra lbs in 6 weeks-with NO change in diet or movement or anything other than getting the flu and the fibro flare up-SUPER BLEH!

so yay, I'm with you on the BLAH!

Boo for fibro pain and mysterious gut issues. =(

Failure to compute the GPA is the KEY to the YALE TRANSCRIPT!! You ask the student their GPA. Then you compute the GPA. If the student is wrong, those C's are "Gentlemen's C's" given out in place of the F's they deserved.

How does that work? I'm confused. Does the student think they got a C? Or an F? And wouldn't they know just by looking at their own transcript what GPA to quote?

It was a joke. I'm suggesting that George Bush is too stupid to calculate a GPA, and he's alleged to have cleared Yale via "Gentleman's C's" -- meaning they gave him C's even though he never studied a day in his life.

Some people really are too stupid to calculate a GPA.

You know it's a sad thing when the fact that such a practice would not surprise me at all. I mean honestly? I completely believe that some institutions really do this.

Of a certainty, the expression came from somewhere, and likely Yale is one of those somewheres. Entitlement.

Entitlement: It's not just for the rich kids anymore!

That seems to be the trend -- "I paid for this course, and that payment entitles me to an 'A' no matter what you think."

Kids these days!!!
