Today is a good day to stay indoors

I woke up at 5:57 a.m., tried to fall back asleep, gave up at 6:15, and now I'm sitting in the living room, looking out the front window and watching the snow come down. It's not falling so much as...thudding. Huge, heavy snowflakes that haven't quite covered the icy patches of puddle in the yard. It looks altogether wet, terribly cold, and quite miserable out there.

I'm very glad that I had such a wonderful time gallivanting around with auroraceleste and solan_t yesterday. Because today? Definitely a stay-at-home day.

It's likely that I might not even venture outside until tomorrow morning when I must go to work. Sorry, roya_spirit. I don't think I'll be over to watch that DVD. There's a strong possibility I won't even get dressed today.

Last night I decided to stay home instead of going out dancing. The rain was coming down pretty hard when I returned home from The Glorious Haircut and I knew once the temperatures dropped low enough to freeze, the roads were going to be nasty. I was in bed and asleep by ten o'clock.

This morning, though, ahhh. Coffee indoors where it's warm and dry. Still in my pajamas. With a cat sitting under my chair. Lovely.

Glorious Haircut. Pics, please!

The snow is very wet and heavy. I made it to aikido this morning (thanks to 4-wheel drive). Good thing, too, because there were students who showed up!

It is so warm today it may be all gone by tonight.

Oh, it's just the same old haircut. I simply gave up the effort to try growing it out.

I braved it to go downtown for brekkies, and it wasn't that bad, once the really harsh wet stuff quit. It's melting pretty quickly, all slushy now.
But yeck, that little jaunt and I'm exhausted, so it's naptime for me. No worries about wimping out, enjoy being home.
