Another Gygax tribute

I haven't seen this one yet on my flist.

Content later, maybe

"Oh, Jesus. He's getting out another rulebook."

On Wednesday night Stephen Colbert ended his show like this:

(at camera): as many of you know, the creator of D&D, Gary Gygax died. Will he be missed?

(pulls out dice, rolls. looks back up): Twenty.

Then he smiled a little and looked sweet.

I thought it was really cute. He then added:

"May your prismatic spray always bypass your target's reflex saving throw."

It was really sweet.

And thanks, this strip is great.

Colbert is my hero. He's geek love made manifest in cunning, handsome, humorous form.

Mine, too. He and Stewart are just so awesome. I feel a little guilty as almost every other post or comment of mine regards them and their awesomeness... but what are you going to do? They're like, amazing.

P.S. A friend and I were discussing/debating journalistic integrity the other day, and it's a bit ironic/sad - but I think those two might have more than 95% of American journalists today.

That's great. :) And, I saw it here first!
