So much for that "out like a lamb" B.S.

I stepped out this door this morning and the wind lifted my skirt halfway up my thighs. I turned right back around, went upstairs, and put on trousers.

This weekend I made my first dress using the new sewing room furniture. It's not quite warm enough weather to wear it yet. Also: Windy.

Instead of counting my pushups this morning, I kept going until I reached muscle failure. Then I had a fun moment getting off the exercise ball without use of my arms.

Today I'm wearing a beautiful new carnelian and silver bracelet from [livejournal.com profile] thefox_rb. It's not nearly as yummy as she is, but I think of her whenever I glance down at my wrist.

Speaking of beads, I made some cute stitch markers for knitting. I made too many (Just! Couldn't! Stop!) so if anyone want to purchase stitch markers, let me know.

Maybe too much coffee today. I feel a little dizzy/motion sick. Wish I had my vertigo medication with me. I haven't used it once since I got the prescription, so I haven't thought to bring it to work. The weird air pressure changes probably aren't helping matters, either. D-i-z-z-y.

Thanks to Coilhouse: The Art Of Kissing. Some of it funny, some of it creepy, and most of it too long. But still. I posted it, so there you go.

I would vote for the air pressure weirdness, as my vertigo is triggering heavy today.

I think January lasted two months this year so I'm moving my calendar back a month, this is now the end of February.

I got this far...However, if she flinches and makes an outcry, a loud, stentorian outcry, mind you, and starts to scratch your face, then start to worry or start to get yourself out of a bad situation. Such girls are not to be trifled with ... or kissed.

ROFL.. eeek!

Total failure is so fun... not. We did quite a few TF exercises back in football off-season things. Most of them included having a spotter (or two) to help you once your muscles... well, failed.

Sometimes, though, we'd be doing calf-presses (or squats) with another guy (or the weight of two guys) on your back until failure. And then you'd just kinda collapse under him (/it).

In any case, your working out is totally inspiring me, so thank you.

I think working to TF once in a while is interesting..and entertaining in a morbid sort of way. It's also good to remind myself that my body is a machine, and I am in control of how well it functions (or doesn't). I tend to baby it just a little too much most of the time. I am, when it comes down to it, a lazy ass slug.
