Bleary

I thought I was feeling a little better today. I woke up with the alarm (instead of before it), but was able to get out of bed with minimal difficulty. Lots of coughing and nose-blowing, but ... nothing terrible. Got to work and slogged through the easy-answer email.

Now I'm looking at the things that will require some effort/concentration and my brain starts to go weird. Like a TV station that looks mostly OK, then starts to go to static when the program gets interesting.

Ugh.

I have no focus.

Maybe you should go back home and sleep . . . and rest and drink some hot tea . . .

I hope you feel better!

I might go home after everybody here gets back from lunch. I usually go to lunch at 2:00. I might just go home instead of taking lunch.

Nix going home. I was just reminded I have a meeting at 3:00 that I could only get out of if I was bleeding out my eyeballs.

Boo.

Use lipstick to fake it . . .

maybe you can crawl under your desk and take a nap.

What if you go home and then come back for the meeting?

It's really not worth it to walk home, sleep, get up in time to walk back.

Meh.

I won't die. I just won't be a real stellar participant!

Yuck.
I have no patience.

What a team we'd make, good thing we don't work in the same office.

Oh, ick. I'm sorry you're still feeling under the weather - hopefully as the spring comes on a little stronger this week (with attendant sun and warmth), you'll feel a little better. Assuming allergies do not rev up as well, but I'll hope for the best...
