The power of cheese

The department awards ceremony was this weekend and someone brought in all the extra cheese from the reception. There are three giant heaping plates of cheddar, smoked gouda, and swiss in the photocopy room. Guess what I had for breakfast?

Last night mckitterick and I went out for Mexican food and margaritas to observe a holiday that we have no cultural connection to at all, but hey! Who doesn't love an excuse to go out for spicy food and booze? We maybe drank a leetle too much and went shopping to walk it off before driving home. Lucky me, I found a copy of the Rancho Texicano ZZ Top 2-CD set for ten bucks! Sold to the drunk woman in the red skirt! Nothing like a few delightfully tacky CDs to round out your music collection. I've had it in my amazon.com wishlist for a while. I need to get all those typed up and printed on a tiny piece of paper that I can carry around in my wallet...

I've only got two weeks before I need to have this costume done for ConQuesT. Eek.
