Interesting experiment

I weighed myself this morning. I lost two pounds this week.

If you've been following along, you'll know I basically ate crap the entire week, although I did manage to do cardio for 30 minutes four days, plus push-ups and ab work. But still, I wasn't exactly trying to watch my diet while I cut out the wheat. I figured if I was eliminating something, I would indulge in other areas so I wouldn't be too tempted.

Namely, I indulged in cheese. I think I had cheese for at least three meals this week. Not cheese at three meals. Cheese for three meals. And no bloating, except for yesterday when I was having weird stomach problems brought on by some mysterious element that only affects me and [livejournal.com profile] everflame.

With this information, I've made a decision to make healthy eating choices as well as exclude wheat and gluten from my diet for another week. We'll see how it goes.

Nope. The only symptom I have is the bloating. Every single other marker of it I either don't have, or I have the opposite.

A lot of people are celiac, it seems. It's too bad that so few things are not wheat free.

Drinking vodka and sodas instead of beer, I seem to have dropped 4 pounds! That wheat must be bad stuff!
