Success!
Today was a wonderful shopping day with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cedarsong and everflame and we finished off the errands with a delicious splurge of steak. Mmmm.
I got home and settled in for the long haul on this coat. I was worried that it was going to be too small since I forgot to allow for the overpadded and embellished bras that I'd be wearing under it. Um. Oops? But I soldiered on and finished it since I already had so much in time and materials invested. I figured worst case maybe I could sell it to someone out at faire.
But hurray!
It fits over the bulkiest bra. Just barely fits, yes, but it does clasp closed all the way, with no pulling.
And it is, possibly, one of the most beautiful things I've ever made. Photos soon, I promise.
