Too much

I have too much to do this week and too little time to do it in. This isn't unusual for me, but today it's just more so. I was already this close to being overbooked for the week, but yesterday added another sizable obligation. Details later.

I'm so buying a quart of this, and adding it to my List of Projects to be Contemplated Post-Faire. (This is a perfect time for a game of Spot The Irony)

Last night I spent a couple hours cleaning the hellish pit of death sewing room and then another hour altering a bra in hopes that I could wear it for a KCRF promo on Friday night. I shortened the back and the halter neck straps by nearly two inches each. Put it on, lifted my arms, and the cups still gape. So there's another costume out the window. Bummer, too, because I only got to wear this one once (at purpledumbass's birthday party). Yes, nottygypsy, it's the gorgeous green one. Boo. I'm very sad. One, because this costume took a crazy long time to make (lots of sequins I sewed on one at a time), and two, because I now have zero cabaret costumes. Suxxor. Happily, this morning I had an inspiration on how to make the black and lime green costume a little more zippy (read: nightclub worthy), and I should be able to get that done before Friday.

How is it Wednesday already? Craziness.

Is your coin set viable for wearing with cab skirts? I used to "cross-cab" like that a lot and people really liked it. Often, more so than sequins. It' s just a thought until you can get one put back together.

Oh, the perils of ditching old costuming and changing shape again. It's just not fair!!!

Yes, my coin costume is pretty versatile. But as far as glittery glass fringe and sequins--I got nothin'. Boo.

And no, this gape went way beyond the help of cookies.

Thank god I saved the old coin bra and belt. Not that I would have sold them for anything, ever! But I'm very grateful I never tried to remake them, especially the bra.
