Vacation, day two
I didn't get as much sewing done as I wanted yesterday, but I still had a very good vacation day. Except there at the very end of it. Details in mo'.
Ran some errands, did a bit of responsible adult shopping (groceries, hardware store), then went downtown for the fun stuff. I got two expensive, practical bras (Wacoal brand, will wear like iron and totally worth the $42 each price tags, despite not being very exciting to look at) and two cheap novelty bras with matching panties! It's been ages since I bought a novelty bra, much less a novelty bra with matching panty. Going down to a D cup really opened up the shopping possibilities. Or maybe, with breast implants being so common these days, bra manufacturers are making more D cup bras in cute designs.
(Novelty bra: Under $25, with cute/amusing decor details like polka dot fabric, frilly lace, and minimal quality/control. These bras will last at most one or two years, unlike the Wacoals, which will last for six or more years if hand-washed and properly cared for.)
After the bra shopping, I met the newly-coiffed
cedarsong and
everflame for drinks and dinner. Much needed tipsy non-faire time. Their new hairdos look faboo.
Then I came home and got a migraine. It hit me like POW and I was barely able to make it up the stairs. It was one of those no-lights no-noise please migraines. The last one I had like this was more than five years ago. This morning I feel a lot better, but still just a wee bit delicate. I slept for a really long time.
Now there's just enough time to slurp down the last of my coffee and go run another errand (need some zippers!) before our pedicure appointment. I have to say I'm not thrilled with the idea of running around in flip-flop shoes today. Brrrrr.

and tipsy time. I'm glad you're enjoying your vacation.. and envious.
Damn the cold and the front that moved in with migraine badness. I was fortunate to take a Benadryl last night and so think I avoided the usual rain front congestion today.
If you should have some time for a bit o' socializing, I'd love to see you sometime soon. I'm really socialized out but I'd make an exception for a nice teatime or a drinky.

I've found that this is probably the case.

I have been happy to find more supportive D cups on the shelves for myself lately.

I'm kind of miss the girls since I lost them again thanks to the CMD, but bra shopping is soooo much easier.
Sorry about the migraine. Thank goodness you don't have to experience that level of pain that often.

I'd love to know what you were thinking in the 2nd one. The almost raised eyebrow gets me.
Keep taking care of you!
