clevermanka | I haven't been to one of these for a while

roya_spirit and I are leaving this morning for the dance workshop, and I'm enjoying the quiet of the house with my coffee and a last check-in to email and LJ. I still need to pack my clothes and toiletries, but the food stuff is packed up (oh! except for slicing the red bell peppers), so I'm pretty much on schedule.

Toes got painted last night. Fingernails will have to go nekkid.

I must not forget my earplugs or zills.

As soon as I finish this second cup of coffee, I'm off to mail one last package to someone that didn't get posted last night thanks to stupid lingering headache/cramp issues. Poo on you, frail body.

I had a really good talk with two friends last night about alternative job paths. I'm still not willing/ready/confident enough to take the leap, but they gave me a lot to think about. The biggest obstacle is I really kinda like my job, it's good money, excellent benefits, and my co-workers are super. It's not like I'm real motivated to get out of there. But there's this huge need in the Lawrence community that's just not getting satisfied, and I think it could be really fun if I could be a part of providing that...hm. Something to chew on with
