Wow it's cold
Last night our low was -1, and that was actual temperature, not wind chill. Today the office is so incredibly cold. I'm wearing a hat, a scarf (that's actually pulled up over my nose), a heavy sweater, and a blanket over my lap. And yes, that's over my normal clothing. Chilly! Even my office mate, who will open her window to let in the balmy breezes of March noted that she's a bit cold this morning.
The graduate school just dumped a literal foot of application materials on my desk this morning. What? They couldn't have delivered some of this last week? So I have to get all this filed today so I can submit applicants for review.
But before I start on that, let me share with you the shoes I will be ordering today:
Heels and Flats
I'm tempted by this top, but I think $49 is a little steep.

I found torrid.com the other day, which has so many cool things... but the shipping rate to Canada, bleah! Zut Alors! Oh well. Having a size 20 top and a size 12 bottom has its drawbacks. =/

It was actually pretty warm in the house last night night, cuz floor-guy had put more rubber-goo down and the kitchen window had to be open. I learned my lesson: Put a fan in the window, sez I, and I did, and the house was much less smelly. Which was good, what with Kij being home. But there was a wicked-cold breeze flying from the cracked kitchen door and the ventilated kitchen window.
Hope the apps went well, and didn't contain too many stoopid mistakes.

Thus confirming that you are, indeed, a freak.
