Wow it's cold

Last night our low was -1, and that was actual temperature, not wind chill. Today the office is so incredibly cold. I'm wearing a hat, a scarf (that's actually pulled up over my nose), a heavy sweater, and a blanket over my lap. And yes, that's over my normal clothing. Chilly! Even my office mate, who will open her window to let in the balmy breezes of March noted that she's a bit cold this morning.

The graduate school just dumped a literal foot of application materials on my desk this morning. What? They couldn't have delivered some of this last week? So I have to get all this filed today so I can submit applicants for review.

But before I start on that, let me share with you the shoes I will be ordering today:

Heels and Flats

I'm tempted by this top, but I think $49 is a little steep.

Great shoes. Ridiculous price for the top, though.

Yep. I wound up giving that one a miss. I can probably make it, anyway.

Oh yeah baby...DIY! That shirt is wicked cute! Granted, not $49 cute.

Mmmmm, shoey. =D I saw these (http://www.newport-news.com/shop/product.asp?superstyleid=132347&Productindex=19&gpcatid=1914&pacatid=1915&subcatid=&catid=2624&sz=&firstpagetypeid=&pageindex=12&isfeature=&previouspage=), too, and fell in love. Mmmmmmm shoes.

I found torrid.com the other day, which has so many cool things... but the shipping rate to Canada, bleah! Zut Alors! Oh well. Having a size 20 top and a size 12 bottom has its drawbacks. =/

Wow, yeah! Those are sexy!

Yeah, but probably not too many... ;)

Heh! Try finding a dress. ;) Or, hearing "OH YOU'RE PREGNANT" for the 50th time. Hurr durr. =)

Oh, no. If you purchase them, we must wear them together--with similar dresses so we can be matchy-matchy.

I love love the heels and that top! I'm not one for flats or pointy toes, though. Just wait and I'm sure you'll be able to get that top on sale (or make it, like you said).

Cold? Feh, I've gone hot-tubbing nekkid in colder weather! >g< Actually, my ears got a little frosty moving outside around last night.

It was actually pretty warm in the house last night night, cuz floor-guy had put more rubber-goo down and the kitchen window had to be open. I learned my lesson: Put a fan in the window, sez I, and I did, and the house was much less smelly. Which was good, what with Kij being home. But there was a wicked-cold breeze flying from the cracked kitchen door and the ventilated kitchen window.

Hope the apps went well, and didn't contain too many stoopid mistakes.

Chris

Thus confirming that you are, indeed, a freak.

Cute shoes! I can see a girls' shopping trip centered over shoes and tea in the future.
