Slowly I turn
I'm feeling a little better today. Things are *ahem* happening. Finally. At least in one area. It means I'm cramping horribly, but at least I'm seeing progress in one aspect of my life.
I just burned my tongue on my hot tea. Boo.
Today's issue of Jayplay has a cover story on rockabilly. The receptionist brought me the copy to my desk since I never pick up the Kansan. I was hesitant to read it because I figured I wouldn't know anybody mentioned and that would just be depressing. But no! I know over half the people mentioned in the article. It's nice to feel like I could step back into the scene if I wanted. I need to brush up on my dance skills, for sure. I don't know that I can follow worth a damn anymore.
I found out last night that
bestill will be conducting a two-day journaling workshop next month. I plan to save my pennies (and any birthday money) to take this. Anybody wanna go with me?
