Not so great akshully

I was up for what seemed like ages last night with terrible cramps and nausea. In reality, it was on and off from about 1:30 to 3:00, but it felt like forever. Sometimes I have super ugly periods and this is one of them. It's unlikely I'm going to make it through the full day of work. The only thing that got me up the hill was the small crisis that cropped up right before I left work yesterday. Now that's resolved, and the only thing keeping me here is I don't want to go back outside in the cramp-inducing cold.

It's uncomfortable to sit up straight so I'm hunched over to cup and coddle my tummy and uterus. As a result, my shoulders have started to ache.

Dear gods somebody just fucking shoot me.

Yuck and OW. Hope the day eases up for you.

Thanks, I hope so, too. As soon as I get home: yes, cup of tea, please. With BOOZE.

I'm shooting you a shot *g*.. with a ciggie on the side.

Thanks. I think the ciggie might make me barf, though. I'm really nauseated.

Those stick on heat pads for cramps really help! I'm sorry you're having the ick.

Yeah, I have a heating pad at home. I can't wait to get back to it.

I hate that level of cramps. And a heating pad never seemed to work for me as well as hot water. It was the only time I'd ever soak in a bath.

I hope you ended up getting to go home. Suffering is easier at home.

I stuck it out here at work. Mostly because people are working on things in the house and I wouldn't have been able to nap there. Which I could do at work. Ah, office door, I love you!

It sucks when you can't get away from being sick, and waiting is rarely fun.

I hope relief is yours soon.

I should be All Better by tomorrow.

Tonight: Wine. If/when the nausea passes.
