Twelve good hours
This was my yesterday, Friday, December 26. The day the governor gave state employees the day off. I took her literally and took the day off from everything.
Times are approximate.
9:00 Got out of bed, finally. Drank coffee.
10:00 Read e-mail and LJ.
10:15 Interacted with another human via telephone.
11:00 Finished the fourth Penny Arcade book.
Noon: Napped
1:30 Started on fifth Penny Arcade book.
3:00 Painted fingernails.
4:00 Contemplated interactions with other humans, took shower instead.
6:00 Accepted invitation to dine out.
8:40 Returned home.
9:00 Went to bed.
It was perfect. Except for the crazy early morning storm, I couldn't have planned a better day of laziness. I was able to go back to sleep around 5:15 or so, and slept until 9:00. Nine o'clock! Can you believe it?
I'm really really really tired of all my food choices. I have some disgusting white bread, sliced very thick, from the deli leftovers that they brought us at the office. I've been putting out broken-up slices for the birds but right now what I want to do is make French Toast. *sigh*

I had the house to myself for most of the day!
Oh, swoon with joy!
