Agenda
I was in bed by 10:00 p.m. and woke at 7:30 this morning. I am blissfully well rested. Ah. I just finished my first cup of coffee of the morning, and for the first time in three days, I wanted it instead of needed it. Mmmmm.
It's a good day.
Today I shall scour through my remaining beading/jewelry supply stash to see what I want to incorporate into my 2009 wardrobe. I shall browse through my pattern collection to match up skirt possibilities with fabric options. Fabric will get laundered, if necessary. I anticipate my sewing machine will be out of the shop by Wednesday, so I hope to have at least two skirts cut out and ready for stitching this time next weekend.

radcliffe. Basics are good, but make them interesting basics. That A-line skirt? Add some ribbon trim along the seamlines. Unembellished full skirt? Put a small crinoline under it, just long enough that some of the lace peeks through. I love wrap skirts, but they're so impractical in Kansas. Impracticality becomes a non-issue when you fasten it closed with a fancy brooch!
Oh yes, lots of fun plans for the new wardrobe. Focus colors: shades of Red, olive, and brown. I already have lots of black in my wardrobe (twinsets, pencil skirt, tights, sweaters), and I like all three of those colors with black, so I should have plenty of options to cheer me up until The Warm returns.
