Flowfit
The stationary bike is...not broken to the point of being 100% unusable by anyone, but it is broken enough that I can't stand to use it. It makes a horrible whump-whump noise and I can feel a click with each rotation of the pedals. Frustrating. I've tried to call Sears twice now, but both times, the phone just rings and rings--nobody answers. Not even an automated service. Also frustrating. And worrisome. In the meantime, so as not to fall down on the cardio regimen, I pulled out the ol' Flowfit DVD.
Holy Crap.
I forgot how effective it is. I worked it on Monday, and by the time I was done with my fifteen minutes, I felt like Jell-O. I had serious concerns about making it up the hill to work. Hell, I had serious concerns about being able to stand in the shower. This morning I did it again, and it felt wonderful to stretch out torn and fatigued muscles. Ahhhh. It's crazy how six simple movements (seven if you include the transition squat between each move) completely kick my ass. When I crawled into bed last night (after my first class in Beginning Modern Dance for Adults--details later), I stretched out my feet to point my toes and even my shin muscles were tender.
Our office is finally moved, and I'm back (hopefully) in my permanent (knock on wood) office space. Ahhh. Now I just gotta get my pictures and indirect lighting back up.

Why, these new discoveries could lead to a revolution in medical science! Let's hope our world is ready for such innovations!
I should try this myself. Perhaps I will start with "walking in a line" or "moving about at random," or "punching and kicking at nothing."
You inspire me, Miss. I feel.....tinglings. Mostly in the "idea centers" of my "brain." Other places too, but I dasn't say anything about that. I just dasn't.
