I didn't get quite as much done yesterday as I'd planned, but instead spent some time watching handsome men work in the backyard. Sewing curtains, or watching men doing manual labor. Sewing curtains, or watching men doing manual labor. Gee, I dunno, which would you pick? I poured me a glass of wine, lit a ciggie and watched the show. That's vacation, people.

Can't say I really anticipate getting a whole lot done today, either, but I should at least manage to sew the curtains this afternoon/evening. mckitterick has a few concerns about me sewing while drunk, but I pointed out to him that one time I ran over my finger with the sewing machine needle I was completely sober. So there.

Whenever people ask me what is my ethnic background, I always say Spanish. Because it's more interesting. But in reality, I'm probably more Irish than Spanish. I'm a quarter Spanish and a quarter Irish on my mom's side. We don't know a lot about Daddy's background, but there's a good bet that he's got some Irish in him. So yeah. I'm probably more than 25% Irish. I've been convinced to go downtown today to celebrate this fact.

Now off to paint my nails green...provided I didn't already give that bottle of polish to nottygypsy. Did I?

Hell I don't remember, I'm way more "Irish" than you! If you did I should give it back, I would probably not polish my nails green ever again now that I'm not a nail tech.

Speaking of nails, I could swear they are growing already! WOW!

I couldn't find the green polish, so I must have handed it over to you, but if you can't find it, don't sweat it. It was just a $1.99 bottle from Walgreen's.

Also: In the Irish Olympics, I've only got about 50% in my bloodstream, but family legend has it that I spoke Gaelic before I spoke English. (n account of us living with my rapidly deteriorating Irish-born grandfather, who ceased speaking English as his Alzheimer's progressed.)
