Clearing

Wow. Thanks to everyone who took me up on my offers of stuff. I've got a lot going out the door and I appreciate it. Drop me a private message through LJ (or email me) if you don't have my phone number and we'll arrange a time for pick-up.

I have a few more things that I forgot to list yesterday. Free for the taking:

Two little curtain tie-backs shaped like teapots. Cute, kitchy, and 50s-vintage.

Several coins from around the world, all with women/goddesses as a motif on at least one side.

Two sandalwood folding hand fans, still in their little Pier One boxes.

A couple Mary Stewart paperbacks: Wildfire At Midnight, and Airs Above the Ground. I'm holding the hardbacks for my mom, but if she doesn't want them, they'll be available, too: This Rough Magic, The Ivy Tree, and The Moonspinners.

Not free: I still have hand-dyed yarns from bestill. They're Brown Sheep brand yarn, and I've got about six or eight skeins of both colors. One's a slightly garish variegated pink, and the other is a dark variegated cranberry. I would like to get at least a little bit of money for these.

These are not collectible coins, though. I bought them in a lot, like 200 coins for ten bucks. I honestly doubt a serious collector would be very interested. They're of more interest to someone who wants them for their sentimental value because of the feminine portrayals.

Edit: This isn't to say I don't want your friend to have them, but perhaps you could ask about his/her level of interest first?

OK! I don't think you'll go for the pink, but the cranberry might work for you. There's enough for a sweater.

Believe it or not, I wear pink sometimes. However it does depend on the shade. My goal is to learn to do a sweater someday.
