You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first?
My boy, of course.
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
Lakefront property at Lake of the Ozarks, then a house to put there.
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
I'd take my friends out for a really nice dinner.
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
I'd pay off 0verdrive's student loans. Does that count?
5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
If there's any left after paying off debts, buying a second house, and finishing what we want to do with our current house, yes, I'd invest what remained. And I'd leave the how up to a professional.
It's sad, but one million dollars really doesn't seem to go very far anymore.
