Don't mind me. I'm wearing my Bitter Old Hag hat today. Also, a headache and some slight nausea. Blargh.

I didn't get to go to the talk last night. mckitterick was pretty jazzed about it and the hangings-out afterward, so I'm bummed I couldn't make it. I absolutely had to make something warmer for this weekend's belly dance costume, though. And of course you all know I never go halfway on a costume.




I want to thank a few people for this particular ensemble. Reece (Reese?) Reed! at Talon Armory made the fucking awesome bra cups (Valkyrie auditions, here I come). shrijani did a wonderful job on the coins--she soldered a perfect little jump ring onto each one, and then treated them to a beautifully mottled patina. I love them. Third, solan_t let me borrow her fabulous serger (again) which made quicker work of the choli top. I owe her dinner (again). November, okay? Call me!

I have some more costuming to do tonight. I need a skirt that will pull together the brown top with black pants. Too bad I didn't buy a pair of these babies in brown when there was still time to get them shipped here for tomorrow. Blargh.
