Greed

I need more tee shirts like I need another hole in my head. But omg want.

Girly shirt size Medium, if anyone's interested.

I kind of love this pendant.

Even though I'm pretty much over the steampunk thing, I love a lot of things in her store.

And I'm not even going to try to link to all the things I want from this person's Etsy shop. But this is at the top of the list.

I'm going to wait until I have $100 lying around and go on a hair-styling items binge there. Perhaps by summer my hair will be long enough to use some of those glorious hairsticks.

Things I do not want? At least, not anymore? Coilhouse. Yes, Coilhouse, oh my late beloved. How I mourn your former grotesque beauty. Ross Rosenberg has shat on my brain (and my eyeballs) once too many times. I have a very low tolerance for people who speak incessantly on topics about which they know nothing--self-admittedly know nothing. I am sorry that your decision to retain his questionable talents has forced me to take my leave. Since it appears your tastes have changed since we first met, I doubt you will miss me or even notice my absence. Adieu.

Twenty-six more days until vacation.

I have loved that tee shirt since I first saw it, too. "Science is a verb now"? Rocket kitty? Space? What's not to love?

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
There is nothing not to love!

Well, maybe except the fact that it's printed on an American Apparel shirt. But whaddya do?

[identity profile] saffronhare.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, hey. I have an elaborate hair comb thingie I purchased when my hair was crazy long and heavy. Very beautiful...I can send it along if you'd like to have a look at it? I doubt my hair will ever be that long again and I'd like it to go to a good home. If it's not quite your style, I trust you'd know somebody who would use it and love it.

Will see if I can get a picture of it.

I think I need everything listed in QueCraft's shop. I wonder how well the bone holds up...I'm very prone to breaking chopsticks and other hair sticks b/c my hair is so thick.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I think most of her stuff is horn, not bone. So those items, at least, should be a little more durable, due to the slight flexibility of the horn. Maybe?

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I would love that! Yes, thank you! I'm hoping to get my hair down to my waist again.

[identity profile] bleuberi21.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Aah, yes, I misread it. I may just have to buy a couple pieces and try them out. I love how decently priced it all is!

I Heart Spacekitty!

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Isn't she adorable? Hey, do you have a Science Girl in your art collection?

[identity profile] charmed-art.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I did at one time, it was a commission, though. I need to do another.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Nothing says sexy like a lab coat and an Erlenmeyer flask.

There should be a respirator.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Now you're talkin' my language.

Really..

[identity profile] wyckedgood.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Sparklies made out of gun shells are awesome!

[identity profile] stuology.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I *love* that shirt! It is even in my favorite color!!

I just wished it wasn't American Apparel. I really want it too!

I'm jealous of anybody who even has an option of using decorative combs and sticks in their hair. There are some cool ones in that store.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I shoulda shown you our sparkly light things I made with drilled-out artillery shell casings. Next time you're over...

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Can you wear the AA unisex shirts, or are they weird-fitting on you, too?

OOooooOOOO

[identity profile] wyckedgood.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Awesome! Brilliant!

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw one of those wine bottles that had the tiny little xmas lights all shoved in it and thought "hmmmm...I can go one step better!" They're awesome. Yay for weird home decor!

Ha ha

[identity profile] wyckedgood.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I need to work on that, I dont have nearly enough weird home decore.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 05:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Check out American Science and Surplus (http://www.sciplus.com/)--that's where I found the artillery shells (alas, all gone now).

And of course there's always Archie McPhee (http://www.mcphee.com/shop/).

Love

Love the McPhee and always forget about american science and surplus.

I can always ask my fam to save their shotgun shells lol.

Adorable. Especially the little airships.

I'll probably drop Coilhouse rss soon too. The level of dumb is rising fast. I could do better than that.

[identity profile] clevermanka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I could do better than that.

What are you talking about? You already do! Srsly.

Maybe I should have applied on the job when it came up.
