Thanks to Cuteoverload, I am informed of the fact that today is Squirrel Appreciation Day. This makes me feel better.

I'm forcing myself to be in a better mood today. The fact that my computer keeps trying to restart for updates isn't helping.

Things that are helping me feel better this morning:
*Coffee
*Snuggly kitty (whom I suspect merely wants the leftover yogurt in my breakfast bowl)
*Yogurt I made myself (mmmmmmmmm)
*A good* book (The Windup Girl, Paolo Bacigalupi's debut novel)
*It's Saturday

Okay, yeah, she just wanted the yogurt.

No matter. Better mood. Onward. And fine, fine, I'm restarting the damn computer. Geez.

*But kind of depressing

1. Can you imagine how scared he must've been at first? Once he started running in circles, though, he seemed to have fallen into the spirit of things.

I fell asleep with my computer on and it downloaded literally DOZENS of updates while I slept, then it restarted itself. That was Friday night. I may leave it on all night on purpose sometimes just to let it take care of its business during a time when it will not annoy me!
