Our eyes met across a crowded room
I just found a new online crush. This is one fucked up, bitter guy. I think I love him. You know I'm all about the bad boys.
This is the entry that sealed the deal for me.
Never you mind how I found him. Be grateful I'm willing to share.

Especially this:
The montage with "The Times They Are A Changing" is more interesting than the entire Hurt Locker film.
Fuck. The opening scene was more interesting, too.

I was listening to a menu recited in French this morning and I was all "I am so learning French again, and relocating the Jbird." I love speaking a language that makes me sound snarky by just saying hello.
I've found a lot on his blog to really love.
Got any Ambien, btw?

"This is the blog of the Drunken Ex Pat Writer, a fictional creation who cares about nothing but vodka, cigs and pussy."
I take that to mean the journal is the sort where the writer is a "character" the actual writer is playing. These of various sorts were quite in vogue back when I originally joined LJ. Some people did journals of various "gods" for example. Others did journals of "celebrities". In other instances, there are people who do journals in which the purport to be someone other than who they are, but those sorts of people sometimes don't ever own up to the fiction involved.
This seems straightforward. The writer is opting to adopt a particular persona, and write with that voice. These sorts of things are often quite entertaining. I just figure it's something to note about what one is experiencing when reading such a journal, if that makes any sense.

I guess we differ there, because I couldn't give a rat's ass about that. I love the brain that is producing and posting the writing that appears on the LJ.

Whether or not a journal is an actual or fictional doesn't effect my enjoyment of the content. Some people do, though, view such things differently (meaning some do want to know if they are interacting with a "real person" if they friend or comment to a journal), hence my comment regarding it being something to note, not knowing your position on such things.
