Tomorrow is the first day of my very very long-awaited vacation. Looking at my inbox (physical and digital), I'm relieved to see I have a fair amount to keep me busy today.

Otherwise, this would be the longest day ever.

Update/Edit: This is totally the longest day ever.

I had a dream this morning that we were going to see a show (that we really are going to go see) only it was in the strip mall at 23rd and Louisiana--the one with the ACE Hardware--instead of at the Granada. And it was snowing. And we were trying to reach some friends to say instead of Aladdin Café we should eat at Thai House because it's right there. But we couldn't reach them, and then I saw this girl that I knew (but I don't, not really) and she was really depressed and fragile. I was trying to cheer her up but she wouldn't come inside. And it was freezing and wet and gross in the parking lot.

I finally woke up with a throbbing headache and my jaw aching from being clenched so hard. Ugh.

Dear god I need this vacation so much.

Yours was a lot more exotic than mine! I would be envious, but since I'm going to be drunk for the majority of the time on my vacation, foreign locations would be wasted on me.
