Steampunk'd, finally
Wow, I'm more brain-dead than I realized. I completely forgot to put up the photo post with the Steampunk'd photos. Geez.

And this is my favorite of them all:

belluthien is hands-down my favorite photo partner at ConQuesT. Remember this one from last year? Good god. *fans self* Such an awesome person to pose with. <3

HOLYFUCKINBOMBDALICIOUS!
That coat is indeed the Best Piece Ever.
Love the anarchy symbol on the back, love that you focused on Punk (with the vignette also).
You've raised your own bar to heights heretofore only traversed by airships.
(and did you have any of that lace left over?)

I do have lace left, yes! I also have some new white lace that I want to dye, if you wanna try that out with me.

Ahbzolutely!

oh, and a further thought crossed my mind... wonder what that brocade would look like dyed? :) I've so wanted to repeat that purple/burgundy incident in some manner.

Yeah, that purple burgundy accident was awesome.

I can hardly wait for the opp to see it in person!

Yep, the A is only affixed with the safety pins (appropriate and convenient). It looks so good on there, though, I hate to take it off. =D

Seriously, though, now that I've figured out all the pattern weirdness, it's a pretty easy thing to sew. We will need to do a couple fittings for you to figure out the underarm gussets. Other than that, I don't anticipate many problems on yours. If you really do want two, we can work something out.
Awesome

Also, did you see that someone posted an actual punk-influenced outfit (http://community.livejournal.com/steamfashion/2667857.html) to

The button fabric is green/burgundy silk dupioni, so yes, there's a slight color shift depending on your angle. It was perfect for that coat fabric.
I didn't see that photo shoot, no. Thank you for giving me the heads-up on it. Wow! That guy's pretty hot. Rawr. I love photos of people smoking.

Yeah, Reconstructing History does suck ass but you did it beautifully. Erm, that didn't come out quite right but you know what I mean.

Yeah, I know. It hasn't ever been before, but a girl can dream, right?

Well played. Well fucking played indeed.
Now, we've just got to get you away from this steampunkish garb and into some Demoryverse cosplay.

I think I'm done with Steampunk now. I was done with it in 2008, really, but I couldn't pass up the chance to take one more pot-shot when KaCSFFS chose it as the theme for this year's con.

Cast aside the gasmask, by the by. If I can't get you doing the chola demon-binder (I'll have to send you the full script for The Warlock's Tale, as I'm ridiculously pleased with it), you should just pop over to pitchaweek.wordpress.com and choose a pitch that makes for good costuming.
That being said... poodle skirt, cat's-eye glasses and blood chitted fatigue jacket. That or the Rodinapunk thing that
