Pardon the just-now-posting of my Week In The Life pics. I didn't consider the fact that I might not know where is my memory card reader at home (oops), nor the fact that my netbook has no capabilities for resizing photos, even if I could get the damn things off the camera.

Ah well. They're up on LJ (backdated) now!

If you upload photos to Flickr, it will offer you many different sizes of that photo. You can just link to a smaller one on Flickr and let it do resizing for you.

If you aren't wanting to upload full size photos for Flickr to resize, then Picasa is free and allows you to edit and organize photos on your compter. You don't have to use Picasa's web album. When I was using it, I found a plug-in to upload to Flickr from within Picasa.
