I'm at peace with the decision that it's time to let Fetish go before her life becomes even more uncomfortable and unhappy. Dr. Coles, bless him, makes house calls for home euthanization. We have an appointment for Friday, January 28, at 1:30pm.

I'm sad for you, though I'm glad to hear you're at peace with it.

When I had to take the family dog in to be euthanized, I cried hard than any funeral I've ever been to, with the exception of my best friend's.

Oh, I'm sure sorry. Letting a truly beloved pet go is one of the hardest things to do. I still hurt for my Squanto, and that was 6 months ago. But you know when it's time, and you let them go with dignity. My thoughts are with you and Fetish. :.(

It's a combination of relief that she won't be hurting anymore, or in for any serious future pain, and grief at knowing that letting go means: letting go.
