Fail Day
My MP3 player at work suddenly stopped allowing me to rip CDs to it. WTF? I just ordered four new CDs from Lovegarden, and unless I figure out WTF is the deal here, I won't be able to listen to them at work.
Speaking of work...let's not. Speak of it, that is.
Oh, hey. I just now realized that my computer here at the office is failing to recognize all USB-type memory devices. It doesn't just fail to record, it fails to read the MP3 player. And when I tried to download a photo of me and my lovely St. Barbara, it doesn't recognize the camera.
What is the deal, here? Time for a system reboot. And if that fails, it's time to close my door for a bit of a lie-down. What with swirling stress, minor annoyances, and the shifting weather, mamma's got a serious headache coming on.
I would like a cocktail, please.
Update: Apparently, the new Nikon camera, that worked fine with my computer for over a week, has decided it doesn't want to play nice anymore and insists on drivers, which I cannot install, because I am not an administrator on this computer.
The fact that this is a micro example of what is going on in a macro level at my job today would be funny if it wasn't so damned irritating.
I still haven't a clue what the fuck is going on with the MP3 ripping, but at least now the thing plays.
Still with the cocktail asking.

That said, I am looking forward to my wine this weekend big time.
