Updatey-ness
Nana is opting for the acute therapy, so will be in the hospital for two to three weeks. She gets moved to her long-term room on Monday. This is a pretty huge deal--not just for the possible financial cost. Nana and I are much alike in that we're both a little lazy, and we both value our quiet and privacy. Her decision to stay in the hospital to undergo some pretty intensive PT couldn't have been easy for her. It's an encouraging sign that she's not giving up on living anytime soon. I'm happy that she opted for the acute therapy, and I'm proud of her for doing something that she didn't really want to do, but knew was the better option, healthwise. I'm going to send her a little postcard or something every couple of days until she's released.
Today is Day One of
bestill's weekend journal workshop. I've been looking forward to this for weeks. Ahhh! Hours and hours devoted to crafty-thinky-think time. I haven't even opened my journal since February 20, when I started to make an entry about the benefits of a focused mind, but I didn't get even halfway done before
mckitterick woke up and distracted me for the rest of the day. Ha. Ha ha. Irony, much?
Hm. Speaking of...guess who's up early this morning?

And Yay for Nana! Being in a hospitally setting for two weeks is tough.
I think your postcard (art card?) idea is lovely. I kept the one you sent me.

Nana deserves her own cheerleading squad.
