Thank you

Yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] mckitterick gave up his whole Saturday to install for me:

A new garbage disposal

A reverse osmosis water filter

A shelf under the bathroom counter (to house all the stuff displaced by the water filter)

Best. Partner. Ever.

Sounds awesome. Very often a new garbage disposal can make far more difference to quality of life than a 50-karat golden ring.

This one is far and away better than the old one. It's saucy enough that I posed with the floor model when we purchased it.

One full horsepower, ten year warranty, and super quiet. So faboo!

Hawt woman, hawt garbage disposal :).

Ha! Too bad I didn't pose with the water filter, too!

Oh, you! =D

*g*

Glad it was all a success!

More about the water filter? I'm curious!

The water filter removes the stuff that normal filters do, plus flouride (which is an endocrine disrupter and bad for your immune system, I've discovered).

I should have been more specific.. I know what reverse osmosis filters do, I meant more like "what brand/model did you get?"

What? you couldn't read my mind? :)

I quit using toothpaste with fluoride as well, and it would be nice to be back to First World living by not having to haul water for drinking every week.

Oooooh. Ours came with the house. The tank and the filter system have two different names on them, so I honestly have no idea. Sorry.

oh. For some reason I thought you'd bought it with the disposal.

I's easily confused. :)

Oooo, quiet disposals are simply to *die* for. Congrats! Wonderful gentleman you've got there, especially to give you a shelf for displaced items! Very thoughtful!

He's so great! *love*!

Oh, what a good guy.

He's super! So so so appreciated.

I think he hasn't even seen this post--when he does, it'll be awesome.

:-D

Just saw this! All day in the garage + all evening watching breaking news = not a whole lotta LJ reading.

You're welcome!
