Volatile, self-centered, and I don't play well with others
1. How did I not notice this parallel?
2. Check this out. Then get a copy. Then print it.
3. Tonight is CrossFit again. It'll be my second time swimming with the big kids in the deep end of the pool. It terrifies me. I'm going anyway. Nerd Fitness would be proud.
4. Every year, just about this time, I am reminded of just how much I fucking hate dealing with the CSSF summer activities stuff. Hate as in This Shit Makes Me Miserable For Eight Fucking Hours A Day Until It's Over hate. The miniscule rewards and occasional gestures of appreciation don't come close to compensating me for this level of frustration and grief. I hate it. I hate all of it. Every single tiny aspect. The only reason I do it is I know if I didn't do it, my life outside of work would be miserable. mckitterick's shoulders since there's nobody else willing to take up the responsibilities. It fucking sucks.
5. I have the final mock-up pattern pieces drafted for Sherlock. So that's like the pre-beta stage of this costume. Thursday I cut the mock-up. Saturday I sew and fit it. Sunday I start cutting the actual garment. Still on schedule, just barely.
