I have a prototype

I have a working Sherlock prototype. There are sizing issues, and I fucked up something on the cuffs and sleeves, but it's a wearable jacket and all the pieces went together okay. The sleeves/cuffs are an easy fix. I know what I did there. The sizing...bleh. That's gonna be tedious. BUT I HAVE A WORKING PROTOTYPE. I put in ten hours today on this fucking thing. I'm going to bed.

HA HA HA! You know, that makes me feel really good! I hadn't thought of it that way. I went to bed last night frustrated at how much more work I was looking at, what with fiddling with the sizing issues. But you're right--this is my first EVER garment that I drafted pretty much from scratch.

I just leveled up!!!!

I have never done something this involved in my 20+ years of sewing. I'm basically a lazy person, and not terribly adventurous, so this is KIND OF A BIG DEAL. =D

I don't like to think about these things too much, but I estimate that I've put in probably fifty hours on this coat so far.
