The world could show nothing to me
New tumblr collection today: Tuesday, July 17: The Color Yellow
I took
curieuse's recommendation and popped three Sudafeds this morning. I'm feeling less headachey already, and maybe a little more alert. I've gotten out of the habit of taking regular OTC stuff for daily living stuff. So thank you for the reminder, sweetie!
A couple times I've mentioned I'm doing the 100 Push-Up Challenge. Now, I'm not even trying for 100 consecutive push-ups (good god no), but am putting my own spin on it which is: For whatever is my current maximum number of consecutive, good form push-ups, I do that many sets of whatever will bring me to the closest number for the required push-ups for that week. I know this formula makes sense to nobody but me, so here's an example:
The week that I started, I could do ten push-ups in a row. Since it was the first week, seven was the max for that week, so ten was all that was required. I did one set of ten push-ups every day. The next week, in order to make a minimum of fourteen push-ups, I did two sets of ten (spaced well apart in the day). And so on. This week ends with a required 29 push-ups, so that would be three sets of ten, spaced throughout the day. However, I can do twelve push-ups in a row now (progress!) so I do three sets of twelve. If I can finish this challenge with the ability to do twenty push-ups in a row, that'll be so incredibly cool. Also, it'll mean I'll only have to do five sets of twenty that last week. =D
Five years ago, I couldn't do a single military style push-up in good form. This morning, I did twelve in a row. ROCK STAR.
Tonight
msmitti is coming over to practice dance. Gotta get our game on for KCRF. It's coming up fast.
Sherlock fans: Would you like your heart ripped-out and stomped on? By all means, watch this fanvid, then. JFC TRAUMA.
THANKS,
pennswoods. THANKS A LOT.

Although I guess I did, too, so I'm no better. MISERY LOVES COMPANY, THO.
