I'm not sure if the flickering lights in my office are actually flickering or if it's an optical illusion from my brain firing way too fast. Things at work just got insane.

I feel like I took a massive hit of ephedrine. It's awesome, but scary.

Sounds like one of your florescent bulbs may be going out. They will do that when they get old, and while your eyes will compensate for it when you look directly at it, your peripheral vision will pick it up.

I feel that way when my blood sugar gets out of whack; it feels just like the adrenaline reaction after a fight-shakes and all.

My blood sugar is rock solid. I can fast for 24 hours with no problems. This is definitely adrenaline, like what I used to get when I took mini-thins.

LOL! You're lucky! Mine doesn't often get out of whack, unless I've really overdone the sweets before not eating at all for way too long. Then I can get slammed with it.

It could be both? Strobing florescent lights always make my pulse jump and my brain to speed up. There must be something chemical to it.
