Heights

Today's colletion, Tuesday, May 7: Heights. So if you're scared of heights, don't hit my Tumblr today.

Speaking of fears, I'm putting together a post about phobias and what it's like to be someone with a phobia. Watch this space.

Yeah. Thanks for the warning.
That first one was enough for me. The balloon one too. *shudder*

That first one nearly got me dizzy sitting in my chair!
Love it, though! I love panorama and vista shots like those; I just can't stand to go very close to the edge!
I've done jobs that allowed me to get used to doing that sort of stuff enough that I got used to the feeling, but that familiarity goes away fast!

I love the collection. I don't have a fear of heights, but I do have slight agoraphobia (the wide, open spaces part, not the outside part) that often manifests itself as a fear of heights - being up really high often means there's nothing else around me.

I also have brontophobia, which is so pathetic. But I *hate* thunderstorms.

Looking forward to the phobia post - my prevalent phobia is actually sort of rational - thanatophobia.

That was a really cool collection, though my chest started getting tight as it went on. The worst for me were those where people could fall to their death, like the first one, the tower-climber leaning back, the jumprope-on-a-crane woman (SERIOUSLY?), the guy standing on a support wire... actually, a lot of them. It's not really a phobia, in that I can look at those, but it's damned uncomfortable to do so.

Love the Duomo shots - what a gorgeous and other-worldly place!
