All the pretty
I enjoyed the new Star Trek movie, but this article is not wrong. EDIT: THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THE ARTICLE! Sorry I didn't note that when I posted this.
For those who try to eat clean on a budget, here's the 2013 dirty dozen and clean fifteen.
More hip-opening exercises! I started incorporating these movements last week with the exception of Super Frog, which I can't due to lack of weight plates at home.
I'm kind of tired. I think it must be allergies. I've been tired since Sunday and it sucks.
Today's Tumblr collection is Tuesday, May 21: Beautiful Men.

I've heard a lot of that exact same complaint about the ST movie. I'll still give it a shot, though. It's Star Trek, afterall.

Look, you’re getting very upset, and this is just the first scene of the movie.
SO TRUE.
I've learned with Abrams products to just sort of let my mind wander and enjoy the pretty. He directs action well and he has a talent for showing beautiful things off beautifully. For depth and coherency, give him a miss.
Edit: Oh, however.
Look, I know Star Trek is science fiction, but hasn’t Trek always at least nominally tried to get science right?
Um. No.

But like you, I still liked the movie.
I also found the different interpretation of BC's character interesting.
Those first aliens, did they have a shitload of that stucco body paint left over from doing The Lone Ranger, maybe?
And the underwear scene... well, I imagined the characters played by William Shatner today more likely to ignore the request to "turn around" than young Kirk.
The opportunity was missed for equal time gratuitous body shot when we didn't get a nice shirt-removal scene from the two engineers.

There was a shirtless Benedict scene written, but they didn't film it. Nice, huh? Fuck you, Abrams.

And furthermore, for the sake of picking nits, why the hell couldn't the costume department at least get the fit of those uniform shirts under control? The seaming was downright amateur.

They're not the only ones!

I really cannot stand when people refer to food/diet as "clean." First of all, I have yet to see a solid definition of WTF that even means--some places seem to think it means whole unprocessed foods, but other places use it to describe supplements and powders. Secondly, all food is clean unless you dropped it on the floor or got cat hair on it or it needs to be rinsed or it's gone bad. Thirdly, it implies that other food is "dirty" which sounds so, so eating-disorder-y to me.
When I sorta dipped my toe into fitness blogs a few months ago, I kept seeing that "clean diet/clean eating" thing everywhere and it was a HUGE turn-off. The idea of calling food "clean" cannot die fast enough.
