Fifty feet of crap
My energy levels today do not bode well for tomorrow. I admit I'm a little concerned about performing.
I woke at 5:30, exhausted, but couldn't fall back asleep despite two hours of valiant efforts. When I finally dragged myself out of bed I puttered around for a bit on the internet before sucking it up and doing Necessary Things.
The good news is I managed to run my errands without mishap or forgetting anything. AMAZING.
Got home, transferred the sheets to the dryer, put away the groceries, and decided I needed a nap before I did anything else. I laid down, wondered if I could actually fall asleep, looked at the clock, and realized it had been thirty minutes since I lay down. Well. Decided I'd better eat lunch since it was 2:00pm.
One of the things I bought on my errands was a bottle of walnut oil. I'm trying to find alternate oils to Bertolli's Light Olive Oil for my mayo since recent articles make me worry about seed/soy oil contamination with cheap olive oils. Let me tell you, straight coconut oil does not work. So I thought I'd try half coconut half walnut oil. It mixed up great--super creamy and yum. Then I made myself some tuna salad with it.
About ten bites into lunch I'm 100% uninterested in eating (again) and I need to put away the leftovers and the rest of the mayo and take the dry sheets upstairs and start prepping food for next week and then clean the kitchen afterward and just...the thought of all that is overwhelming and if I was the type to cry I would totally fucking cry right now.
I haven't carried exhaustion like this for months. MONTHS. It felt so good to have the energy to do Normal Human Stuff and now I'm back on the couch so fatigued that if my phone rang (it's in the kitchen) I wouldn't get up to even see who was calling.
My next appointment with Dr. Khosh isn't until October 11. I can't bear feeling like this until then.

That's complete and total suckage. On a side note, I'd totally love to have Joey giving me the "there-there's".
I hate to ask you to consider it, but do you think all the hard-ass training you did the past week fugger things up?

I'm glad to hear that about coconut/walnut oil mayonnaise. I haven't made mayonnaise in a while, actually, because I had concerns about what else might be in the Bertolli (yeah, besides olive oil).
May I ask what brand of Walnut oil you ended up trying? And further, what brand of tuna you use for your tuna salad?
