Monday recap
Had an exhausting weekend of ups and downs, and I really wasn't ready to come back to work today. I mean, I rarely am, but today I was really Not Ready.
Friday I dragged my lazy ass to Sellout and wound up having a fantastic time. Of course.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
curieuse and normalcyispasse made it out for their first Sellout experience and it sounds like they had a good time. It was also nice to see starstraf and company for a brief while. Thanks to bellanorth and 0verdrive for guilting me (bellanorth unknowingly) into getting out of the house. I'm very glad I went.
Saturday morning was spent helpingdvicci move out of his place. We helped with the loading, but had other obligations and couldn't make it to KC for the unloading and post-move cookout. Helped a couple friends (who aren't on LJ--freaks!) get a couch and a TV home from an estate sale. After that was lunch and a nap. Then zoomed off to Jackpot Saloon to catch the Rhythm Busters. A very fine show, and they're attracting more people each week.
Walking out of the Jackpot, I got hit with a headache. By the time we got to the car, I couldn't even open my eyes. Sinus Migrane. Bummer. I took my cafergot and huddled on the floor in the living room until I could get up to take another one. Huddled some more until I could haul myself to the shower and then to bed.0verdrive and I had to skip the rockabilly show we were supposed to attend in KC.
Sunday was domestic stuff--errands, laundry, and Father's Day dinner with0verdrive's folks. Also watched Kama Sutra, A Tale of Love, the last of my whore homework movies. While it was very nice to look at, I have to say I didn't care much for the film. I suppose when you're that pretty, you don't have to be smart, but damn the characters in that movie were dumb. Sheesh. It did provide lots of costume lust. How could you wear clothes like that and not feel like a goddess? Wow.
