You see me rollin'
I took a chance by going ahead with my scheduled appointment with Andrew yesterday and today I feel okay. A little tired and a lot muscle sore, but the second is to be expected after not doing a damn thing all last week. I was pretty wiped out yesterday after the session, but not as bad as the week before. So...better? A little? Enough that I'll finish out the remaining paid sessions with him (I have four left) and then I'll re-evaluate.
This morning I spent a painful hour rolling out. Rolling out in the morning is horrible to me, but I didn't have the stamina for yoga. Plus, I was super stiff and didn't have the patience with myself to do slow and steady. I wanted those muscles loosened up asap, thanks, so self-myofascial was the way to go. Didn't make it fun, though.
Gonna roll out again tonight after dinner to help things loosen up so I can (I hope) do my time at the gym tomorrow morning without being super stiff for the first half.
Feeling marginally better about exercise prospects than I did last week. Still feeling impatient and angry about the swelling issues, though. 'Cos those aren't getting any better at all.
