Hi, I live in KC and stumbled across you LJ. I am interested in taking some beginning belly dancing classes and wonder if you have any insight or recommendations? I noticed a class at the Shawnee Civic center, but am unfamiliar with the instructor (Amara). Again, any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Amara, but I'll ask my instructor (I might have met her, but just don't know her "dance name"). I'll reply here as soon as I hear back.
