I'll eat all of the things and that will help
Okay, Buzzfeed link, so you know. But this article on What Having Your Period Feels Like is pretty brilliant.
Breaking Muscle put up a post that itemizes ten blood tests for athletes. I already do some of these, but others I've never even heard of. The HS-CRP, IGF-1, Heart Rate Variability, and Oxygen Saturation sound especially helpful. Might be making an appointment with Dr. Khosh sooner than I thought.
I felt good enough to go to the gym this morning (yay!) and am feeling fine. I didn't work as hard as I did on Sunday and that was a wise choice. I did one of my three sets of lunges unweighted and did only two of three sets of the side plank twists/elbow-to-hand pushup superset.
Feeling good about feeling good right now. I was going to roast a duck for dinner this evening, but I just found this recipe that takes four hours and it looks amazing and I'm thinking maybe I'll save this duck until Saturday.
