What a self-important, clueless, so-ignorant-he-doesn't-know-the-meaning-of-intellectual-dishonesty blowhard! Good for you to kicking him to the curb. As I hail from a rural area, I have people like this as Facebook friends, and we remain friends as long as we can remain civil at the rare times we brush on controversial topics.

Though friends of friends aren't always so polite- one guy, an NRA member (paint me surprised), attacked me when I pointed out the reporting flaws in a piece our mutual friend had posted and took issue with my (I thought) noncontroversial statement that of COURSE modern mass shootings involve guns. Multiple people I don't know sprang to my defense, but he kept pushing it, saying I was being deliberately provocative, so it was my fault he misread my original complaint. I mocked him with firearm puns.
