Pattern Purge
To claim a pattern, comment to this post with the pattern company and number (Simplicity 1234, Vogue 9876, etc.) of the pattern(s) you want. If you are commenting anonymously, include your name in the comment (aliases are fine). Send me an email (clevermanka68 at gmail dot com) with your name, alias, and mailing address. I'm happy to mail something to an alias name. I get mail to Clever Manka all the time with no trouble. Do not message me through LJ with your mailing info. Send an email.
Most patterns are free with the cost of shipping. The only exceptions are the large-format Vogue patterns (the ones in the big envelopes) and the vintage patterns. I'm asking $2 each for those, plus the cost of shipping.
To pay for the pattern, please Paypal me the money once you receive the patterns. You'll be able to see the cost of the shipping right there on the stamp, so no guesswork for that. If you requested any large-format Vogue or vintage patterns, I'll note that in the enclosed card with my Paypal information.
First comment to claim a pattern gets the pattern. If you want to see if a pattern is already claimed, please read the comments prior to yours. I'll just disregard duplicate requests, so don't worry if you request a pattern that's already claimed. Please note! There are a very few patterns for which I have duplicate copies. Those are pictured twice, so you know there are two available.
Most patterns are bust size 34 or 36 (inches), waist 28. Modern patterns have a wider size range, but usually fall to the 36-inch-and-smaller range. Most are uncut, although I cannot vouch for the vintage patterns. I trust most of them to be complete (not missing pieces), but since I haven't used them all, I can't vouch for that 100%.
Regarding vintage patterns: Many vintage patterns are unprinted--you just get a bunch of funny-shaped blank pieces of paper with holes to indicate tailor's marks. If you are not practiced in sewing, I recommend against using vintage patterns right out of the gate.
Clicking on the image opens it in a larger format in a different tab.
