Perfectly reasonable, rational things I am freaking out about right now
Lin-Manuel Miranda will be ill the day of our performance.
Lin-Manuel Miranda will step down before we go.
Lin-Manuel Miranda will die before we go.
mckitterick will die before we go.
I will die before we go.
Our plane to New York will crash (it can crash on our way home, whatever).
There is a rule about Broadway Wednesday matinees that only the understudies perform for those.
The Rodgers Theater will burn down the week before.
We'll get lost on the way to the theater.
We'll be murdered on the way to the theater.
We'll forget our tickets at home.
Our tickets will be lost in a house fire a week before the show.
I'm sure I'll be adding to the list as the day progresses.

LMM will put out a call for commentary and he'll take the winner and a guest out to dinner. You win.
You will go on a backstage tour and meet LMM and he will sing at you.
Oh sorry, is this not the kind of thing we're imagining?

If he is ill he will probably go on anyway.
Lin-Manuel Miranda will step down before we go.
He would have announced it by now, instead of announcing plans for current cast through the start of summer.
Lin-Manuel Miranda will die before we go.
mckitterick will die before we go.
I will die before we go.
So incredibly unlikely.
Our plane to New York will crash (it can crash on our way home, whatever).
Since that's seperate from the above death concerns, I'm assuming that if this were to happen you are worried about being late after having to heroically land the plane in the water and swim to shore or something. Fly in at least the day before? :)

Nope!
The Rodgers Theater will burn down the week before.
There are regular fire inspections and not a single Broadway theatre has had even a significant fire in....well, at least the last 14 years. (Not that there was one then, just that I wouldn't necessarily have been aware before then.)
We'll get lost on the way to the theater.
It's on the grid! You can only get so lost when the streets are numbered.
We'll be murdered on the way to the theater.
Nope, you already listed fear of dying before the show, this is cheating!
We'll forget our tickets at home.
Our tickets will be lost in a house fire a week before the show.
Show the credit card they were purchased with and you'll be fine.
You will have such a great time!!!

My main, overwhelming fear every fucking time, is that I will get sick. Which is weird, because I get maybe one or two colds per year these days. But I live in utter horror of spending all that money and looking forward to my trip so much only to be stuck in bed conked out on nyquil while all the fun is happening around me. The idea of being on an airplane and only being able to think about how bad I want to lie down! Nooooo.
Okay, that's not my only fear. My other fear is that the people I look forward to seeing there will have to cancel at the last minute and I won't get to see them.
