Forgot the base images I printed at work for the flower crown art project and since my world looks like this right now (with snow still coming down), no way I'm going back to the office to get them.
No arting for me this weekend after all.

Have you told thisaintbc about this? She said she would reopen the collection for late entries under certain circumstances.

Thanks for letting me know, but alas, I don't know I'd have time to do it other than this weekend. I don't have time on weekdays and next weekend I'm getting ready to go out of town for a funeral the weekend after... *sigh*

Ooo! I almost moved to that place, around about the time dS was airing! Someday maybe I'll write a post reminiscing about the beautiful and astonishingly reasonably-priced apartment in Rogers Park...

My family moved me to this hellstate when I was 11, so I guess you can say I'm from here, but I claim southern Indiana (despite all of its many many problems) as my childhood home.

And I just sent her a message about an extension or a possible amnesty at a future date!

Oh, and yes, I work there (and live very near campus). But I'm not into school-spirit stuff and I actively hate college athletics so I'm really popular at some parties. =D

Oh, man. My folks never attended KU. Never lived in Lawrence. Now live in California (again). And are some of the biggest Jayhawk sportsball fans ever. I think they balance you out in the grand scheme of things. ;)

SNOW!!! I love snow. My view should be like that. We get good proper winters here. Usually. Not so this year. So I am jealous of your half-ass Kansas winter. ;)

of course, it's easy to be envious of snow when you don't have to drive anywhere. :)
