I Was Nerfed From Birth and What We're Doing About It
Got some interesting results from those blood te$t$ I got done earlier this month. Apparently there are three major genetic markers common in people whose bodies don't process toxins. They result in bodies that don't recongize toxins as bad for the body, so just let them hang around for pretty much ever. Well, guess how many of those markers I have? Yep! All three. Typical!
So basically, any mold, heavy metals, etc., that ever made it into my body for pretty much my entire life has just...hung around, causing havoc and degrading every single system. And because that base problem is genetic, there's nothing that can be done to fix it, just manage it--and work to ensure I avoid further exposure.
What we can do for the present, though, is something like scrubbing my blood clean. There's two methods, one of which is cheaper but can take 3 to 6 months (which, let's face it, in my world means 9 to 12). For that one, I'd swallow a powder four times a day, at least 30 minutes before eating, followed by 32oz of water every dose because it's so dehydrating. It also usually makes people feel worse for a while before they get better. The other one involves introvenous injection of ozone (yes seriously) three times a week for one to three months at $1K/month and I'll probably start feeling better quickly with no regression.
I'm going with the second option. It's gonna run my savings down a hell of a lot faster than I'd budgeted for, but I didn't budget for getting laid off either, so fuck that budget. I just need to feel better and I'll deal with being broke later.
So that's the probable cause of, well, most if not all of my health problems. One of the interesting (~interesting~) symptoms of this toxin build-up is so-minor-as-to-be-nearly-undetectable sinus infections. I've had a drippy nose since I was a child. I don't remember a time when my nose didn't run a little bit All The Time. So I've probably had this infection my entire sentient life. Another symptom is sleep disruption due to the body being constantly stressed and releasing cortisol at inappropriate times.
So, knowing really is half the battle, I guess. Too bad the other half of the battle is so fucking expensive, but at least I won't have to take time off work to go to the appointments three times a week!

Thanks, bb. Thankfully, I have the resources to take some time and figure out what I want to do next instead of jumping to the next paycheck.
