I don't even have a job and it's still That Sort of Monday
Jaw-droppingly good Weilan cosplay found on Twitter. Just...that third pic especially ? Good Lord.
Haven't written anything since I sent the third fic to beta and am actually feeling a little...at sea? It's weird. I I want to start on the Space Poem but idk, my brain isn't being cooperative. I have lots of good lines for it--just need the inspiration to put them together.
But today I have a headache and what I want to do is veg out on the couch with fic and food and Kpop music videos in between. What I am going to do, though, is peel myself away from this computer and go work in the kitchen since we have literally nothing to eat in this house that doesn't require extensive food prep. So....

I'm not finding that surprising, really. It matches my experience - writing something intense (or even just writing a lot), my brain always needs sometime to reset itself. I mean, I do also keep forgetting this, even though I know. I'll have a Friday where I knock out 2500 words and go, "wow, if I write this much on Saturday and Sunday too, I'll have a whole chapter done!!! :DD" And then on Saturday I sit there and go *blink* *blink* and... clean the kitchen or something.
I hope the cooking was fun and you had better resources at your disposal than Zhao Yunlan's fridge!

But I did successfully accomplish soup, prep for curry (which is in the crockpot today) and then around 8pm I got a second wind and made the pork dumpling meatballs. So now at least we can eat, thank dogs. Things were getting grim.
