Uncomfortably Cute
This (technically NSFW) Weilan fanart on Twitter made me come up with that word combination. Like, sure they're Doing It, but I found myself making the squeaky "oh my goodness oh my goodness" noises I usually reserve for things like pictures of harvest mice and tiny puppies. WEIRD COMBO but also DELIGHTFUL.
November's Guardian celebration week might actually get me to do something on Twitter. No promises. We'll see.
Sorting out the dynamics of being back home again after two weeks. Today is more laundry and food prep. Routines are soothing and helpful. Emotional growth is the worst. I did, however, have more of an appetite yesterday than I've had since I left so that's...promising, I suppose.
I hope to get some quality writing time in this afternoon. Would really like to finish up the month of October soon (getting ready to head into the third week) since I have First Time Sex! scheduled on the outline for the second week of November.
This morning I got an AO3 kudos nomination email that said each of my (four) Guardian works yesterday got kudos--each one by a different user (plus one guest on Lollipop). It's wild how much of a mood boost that is.
Off to the grocery store, now. Chop wood, carry water.
