This plot bunny. I am so tempted. But 1, it's kinda close to what I did in Lollipop, so maybe not. And 2. it'll have to come after Ghost Story, the short Shen-Wei-and-the-Pillow sexy angstfest, and Canadian Shack. I understand the fic writing problem of too many ideas, now, though. I get it! The universe can stop with the suggestions, already.

A Twitter thread on Sex Scene Discourse (I am spending so much more time on Twitter these days, y'all) that contains the (100% gold) line "sometimes you've got chekhov's trampoline and your Art demands that it be fucked upon." That hit me where I live since I decided on Friday to write an(other) unplanned porn scene into Ghost Story. Because, you know, I just can't get enough of these ghost sex scenes that take me literally four times longer (or more--I've started timing them) to write than ones where all participants are embodied.

Which brings me to my Art that demands copious fucking:

Swallowing a surge of nervousness, he closed his eyes and forced a slow breath out through his nose. “I trust you.”

Yes.

“Do you trust me?”

Yes.

“Good. I’ll tell you if something hurts. Like, if it actually hurts. I know you—” He swallowed again, eyes still squinted shut. Maybe they should have had this conversation when he wasn’t already on his knees. “I know you like to tease. And I know you’re gonna make me beg. And that’s good. But if there’s something bad, and it hurts, I promise I’ll tell you. Otherwise, just…just keep going. Yeah?”

Yes.

“Okay.” He took another deep breath and turned his head to brace his forehead on the blanket. “Fuck me, Shen Wei. Please.”

I've heard many people say Shen Wei is hard to write, but you've really picked an extra special hard to write Shen Wei. KUDOS! >_>

FYI, I just finished first pass of the scene and from what I consider to be the start of it (Shen Wei confirming that yeah they're Doin' It Now) to the end (post-orgasm shudders) is two thousand, one hundred (and four) words. ha ha ha ha ha ha *thud*

You know, I can't help but be consumed by curiousity about the mechanics of this. So ZYL says something like "I know you like to tease. And I know you’re gonna make me beg," and instead of just spontaneously combusting over the sheer hotness, my first thought is basically "How can someone without a body (who might not even be able to talk?) do that!?

But then my second thought is still, "Whoa. That sounds like it's gonna be some trip, and I'm so there for it!" So. Yeah ^_^
